Biography Highlight
Wang Maolin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Qidong, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1934 and joined the CPC in 1956.
Wang spent almost ten years in the management of the Datong Mining Administration. In 1979, he became vice-governor of Shanxi Province and mayor Taiyuan City. He also held various local and provincial Party positions. He later transferred to Hunan province, where he became Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee. In 1998, he became chairman of the 9th Hunan Provincial People's Committee.
Wang was a member of the13th, 14th and 15th CPC Central Committees. He is currently Vice-Chairman of the Law Committee of the NPC.
